Why I Wrote a Mean Girl Heroine #TwoStepTemptation

You know how so many contemporary series have the three best friends/sisters/cousins who fall in love with three best friends/brothers/cousins? I always wondered what it would be like to have two best friends and someone they hated, or at least didn’t like, as the heroine.

Sage McKenna was mean to Cassidy Simon, the heroine from my first book, when they were in high school. When Cassidy started dating Sage’s brother Grady, Sage was NOT happy. But throughout this story, Cassidy becomes one person Sage can count on, as they’re thrown together through family dynamics.

Available at Amazon and iBooks, coming soon to BN and Kobo!

I’m thrilled you’re writing about women who are not perfect, and not put-upon, and Pollyannas. I also write ‘less likeable’ heroines and their journeys are farther and harder and more satisfying. Good for you!
