La Nora had a banner year- loved ‘The Search’ and ‘Happy Ever After’.

My new author discovery was Meljean Brook with ‘The Iron Duke’- an amazing book that introduced me a to a whole new genre (Steampunk).

‘When Harry Met Molly’ by Kieran Kramer was an awesome debut- it really put a smile on my face.

‘Edge of Sight’ by Roxanne St. Claire- the start of a new series for her (miss the Bullet Catchers but hope to see them in the new series at some time).

Aww, thanks Mary for the mentions. You are too sweet!

Some of my faves from this year:
Sunrise Over Texas (MJ Fredrick 🙂
City of Ashes and City of Glass (Cassandra Clare)
New Blood and Heart’s Blood (Gail Dayton)
Life As We Knew It (Susan Beth Pfeffer)
    Lover Mine (J.R. Ward)
    Mockingjay (Suzanne Collins)
    Worldshaker (Richard Harland)
    Silver Phoenix (Cindy Pon)
    The Book Thief (Markus Zusak)
    Leviathan and Behemoth (Scott Westerfeld)
    Uglies (Scott Westerfeld)
Matched (Ally Condie) — am reading this now

This year, I read steampunk for the first time and am loving it. Also continued to reach for dystopian and post-apocolyptic, especially in YA.

Read and loved both Nora books … she did good 🙂

LOVED both Shannon Stacey books: “Exclusively Yours” and “Undeniably Yours”.

Read and completely enjoyed a zombie hunter book — surprised me! “Ashley Drake, Zombie Hunter” by Dana Fredsti

Totally got into all of Paula Grave’s Cooper books.

LOVED “The Vampire and the Virgin” by Kerrelyn Sparks

    Is that enough? *G*

Michele, I’ve never read Roxanne St. Clair, but I need to.

Trish, you read a TON of YA! We actually read some of the same books! And glad you loved Sunrise 🙂

Marianne, I have the other Shannon Stacey and all of Paula’s books. Need…more…time.
